Hibu - Kept in contract and charged unfairly
I've been advertising with yell.com or hibu for many years and I've been satisfied with them until recently. First issue, they made a big change to the contract, it's now rolling rather then for a year only.
I feel this should have been pointed out. second issue is following the birth of my twins I wanted to reduce or cancel my ads. I met with my advisor who then didn't get back to me for ages. kept promising to call never did.
Meanwhile my contract kept rolling. Now hub is saying they don't have any record of my conversation with the adviser they assigned to me. I've bee trying to send them transcripts from text messages but they say they can't read them.
They've decided to pass on my details to a debt collection agency. I feel I've been treated unfairly and kept in a contract i didnt want.
Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.
Hibu Cons: Ripped off, Sales reps, Failure to communicate within the company, Lack of empathy, Difficult to work with.
